A 14-year-old Chinese-Malaysian girl from Selangor has been missing and out of contact with her family for over two months, prompting police intervention in the search.
The Petaling Jaya police issued a missing person alert this morning (6th), stating that Lin Yu Cheng, a 14-year-old girl, has been unaccounted for since May 25th.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and are seeking the community's help to locate her.Lin Yu Cheng was last seen on May 25th at around 3:10 PM, leaving her apartment in PJU 1/42.
Her family reported her disappearance to the police yesterday afternoon around 3 PM, expressing their urgent concern for her safety.
Lin Yu Cheng is described as being approximately 155 cm tall, weighing 42 kg, with yellow skin and dark black hair.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Petaling Jaya Police Headquarters Operations Room at 03-79662222 or visit any nearby police station to assist in the investigation.
